Johann Rudolph (Rudolf) Schellenberg (1740 - 1806) was a Swiss artist and engraver, the grandson of Johann Rudolf Huber.
Titled in the plate: Demoiselle allant a la promenade. 15. The typewritten label on the back of the engraving: Unknown F1171 Demoiselle allant a la promenade.
Materials and Techniques: Engraving on wove paper. Gilded contemporary frame.
Provenance: To be said Heinz Estate. All prints of this set are framed uniformly and bear the identical collector's label on the back.
Dimensions: Image approximately 6 1/2" x 4". Sheet approximately 9 1/4" x 6 1/4". Framed approximately 10" x 7".
Condition: Large dark spot in the upper left corner of the sheet. Stains, foxing. Partial loss of gilding on the frame. Unexamined outside of frame.
