Artist: Giovanni Tommaso Borgonio (Italian, 1620-1691), famous calligrapher, miniaturist and cartographer. Within the framework of the editorial project "Theatrum Sabaudiae", Borgonio was the author of a large number of tables.
Engraver: an anonymous engraver worked for the Blau printing house, which employed about 800 people.

Printer: The Blaeu family served as third-generation publishers until the enterprise shuttered in 1706. The printing shop had been liquidated by 1695, with a large number of copper plates which were auctioned to Frederik de Wit.
Edition: Theatrum Statuum Regiae Celsitudinis Sabaudiae Ducis Pedemontii Principis Cypris Regis (multiple editions late XVII/early XVIII C).
Dateca 1674, possibly printed later.

Materials and Techniques: engraving on laid paper, folded as issued.
Provenance:  The Estate of George "Yorgo" Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute, and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1965-2000.
Condition: Wear, broken corners, spots, tears. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
